Read the Road First
Before spending all your gold, look for the places where enemies stay in range the longest. Corners, bends, and overlapping paths usually matter more than empty spaces near the entrance. A good Royal Defense build starts with one strong damage area, then adds a second layer only after you know where enemies survive.
Upgrade the Busiest Tower
The best upgrade is usually not the newest tower. Watch which tower fires the most and improve that position first. Upgrading a busy tower can affect every wave, while a new tower in a weak spot may only attack for a second or two.
Keep a Spell for Trouble
Spells are most valuable when enemies are grouped together, when a fast unit breaks through, or when a tough enemy is close to leaving range. Do not waste a spell on a wave that your towers already control, because the next wave may need that cooldown more.
